Has your kid ever picked something up at the store and you didn't realize it until you had left? Well, the family packed up this weekend for a day trip to Austin, and we went to IKEA (probably the coolest retail place I've ever been to, by the way). Somewhere along the way Emma swiped this lovely rat. Out of all of the cool toys and nice-looking gear they had there, Emma picked up a rat. Ha. Oh, and it's a lot uglier in person. They make it look cute or something on this web photo. It has this nasty long tail and creepy whiskers.
And MINNEN RÅTTA (the title of this post and the official name of our lovely rodent) means "rat memories"??? in Swedish? Must be something cultural?!?

That's funny! Ya, it doesn't look like something you'd exactly want to snuggle up with. At least it is just a stuffed rat and nothing something you found running around your house, eek!
Hey Michelle! Small correction...with twins you only have to go to 38 weeks...thank heaven! So at most I have about 4 weeks left, not 6.
Funny that Emma picked up a rat! Eeek.
Yes, I have to admit, I've come home with a couple extra things in my day. I'm learning to check out the bottom of th stroller before I leave stores now becaus a lot of things seem to get stashed away down there. We made it home from the outlets at Christmas time with a toy car.
HAHAHAHA!!! How much fun to have kids that are great for fun surprises and general craziness! At least Emma is the cutest thing ever; it balances out the ugliness of the rat :)
