This past weekend we drove out past Shertz, TX to go to the Everything Jesus Ranch. It was down a long dirt road...

Emma's favorite part - the piggies! I think she was surprised that they actually don't say, "oink, oink" but in fact they kind of snort and grunt.
Ben and Emmanuel on the front porch rocking chair. They sure love each other and are always playing. If only we didn't all look like a pack of city rats and were wearing overalls or something...

Hahaha, love the pigs. And what a name for a ranch. Why is Everything Jesus at that ranch anyway? What does that mean?
They are mostly a jolly bunch of Christian black folk. At first I was a little scared, but then when they wouldn't let us leave without praying with us, I thought they were different, but alright. We are different too, so I guess we were in good company :)
WOW. That sounds like loads of fun. How weird is that? At least you had fun right?
That is kinda a funny name for a farm. When I saw the title of your post I was like, oh Emma must really be into things about Jesus lately and talking about him or something. He he! Glad you had a fun little outing!
