Grass Phobia No More!

Wednesday, March 12, 2008

Sorry to make you northerners jealous, but today was a perfect sunny 75, and it's so much fun now that Emma is walking! She loves to explore the great outdoors. It's so much more fun to go out now and just have Emma wander where she wants. She is very independent and only tolerates us holding her hand for a few minutes before she wants to venture out on her own. She is getting better with the grass, even though once today she stumbled down a little slope and landed on her back and just lied there because she was afraid of the grass. It took her about 5 minutes, and the encouragement of mom and dad walking away saying "adios" before she decided to get brave and get up. This is part of that episode:

Okay, yeah...hating that you have 75 degrees and I currently have wool socks and a sweater on!!! Can we come visit again? :)

That is seriously so funny! I love how she kept holding her hands up like, "just come get me, please!" I wonder why she was so scared of the grass in the first place? She'll probably get over that pretty quickly (if she hasn't already).

You look so cute! It is so cool how you can stand up all by yourself!

Enjoy the nice weather! You are lucky you can go outside without a coat and wear white!!

Love,
